Performance Upgrades

I am new to this board and it was so awesome to run into people who are in love with their Trac's.



I have some performance questions....I wanna give my Trac some more power, I have a Flowmaster system and a K&N Cold Air Intake. Gonna get Todd's TB, is there anything else? Upgrading the coil and wires, etc? Thanks I look forward to all your posts........

If your Trac is still running the OEM shocks, get rid of them. Any aftermarket shock is better than OEM. Just depends on your preference. Also, get the Explorer Express X-Spec rear sway bar. You won't believe how much better the Trac handles with these two upgrades.

I did change those shocks a long time ago, was having some cupping issues with the stock stuff, Ranchos are on it now :O)

Hi and welcome! You might want to look into the Random Tech. 'Y' pipe and the Random Tech. hi flow cat. I have them both. Talk to Todd about getting them. You can also checkout my mod list. Good luck.

First off Welcome!!! I'm on here mainly to hear what everyone else has to say because I'm just learning this stuff and I've found a wealth of knowledge from them, its a great site. :welcome:



There are plenty of mods that can be done, I have very similar to what you have done, and have an XCal2 on the way with Torrie's tunes. I cant wait to get that, from what everyone says the XCAL is one of their fav mods.
