Way off topic, I know.

So why, with all of the marvelous technological advances in electronics, batteries,

charging systems and the like, do the batteries in a Dust Buster or Hand Vac type

vacuum only last for 52 seconds?!?!

If I have to vacuum more than six crumbs out of the Trac, it's out with the ShopVac!

One of the many wonders of life.:D

My wife would say, "Quit your bitching!!! Your batteries last 22 seconds longer than my husband!!" My response? "I may not be good, but I am fast!":D;)

? I have an 18V black and decker hand vac and 18V drill, and the batteries last a long time.

Cordless vacuums come with "Crumb Counters" If it sees that you have six crumbs to pickup, it will only enough battery power to pick up 4 or 5 crumbs. Without coing into a Quantum Physics lesson, it can be bst explained by Murphy's Law.
