Anyone black out their Gen 1 hood and have pics they can share?

Time to get rid of my hood stripes and bud shield and get a new look for the front end.

Rick have you looked into the new vynal heat shink, for auto bodys.

You cut it, lay it in place. Then you use a heat gun to make it stick. I think you use a squegee to smooth it out. It can be removed with the heat gun, if you dont like it. It is supposed to stand up to the enviroment.

I saw it on History with the show Leepu & Pitbull. They changed the color of a cutluss race car with it.

I am not looking to wrap or change the entire color. I want to black out the center, raised section of the hook but I will ask my local shop about paint options as well.

I think this vinyl Eddie's talking about comes in pieces that would work well on a hood. Just cut it to fit what you want to black out.
