Pioneer Audio system

I have the headunit --- 4 Dr, Sport Trac, AM-FM-CD (6 disc, in dash), ID model #3L2T-18C815-AB --- (purchased elsewhere) and am attempting to install it. However, I believe I need to get another harness for the audio signal output. I have the 70-1771 and the 71-1771 to connect from the factory harness to the 6cd head unit. Do I need another connector for that other connection on the head unit (it has 8 pins and is square)?



---- I have the Pioneer 6cd head unit (which I purchased second-hand) and I want to run it to a JBL amplifier. HOW DO I DO THIS? Haha. I'm lost!



(Also, does the Pioneer Ultimate Audio system have just front left and front right speakers and a subwoofer, or front left and front right speakers and a subwoofer AND rear left and rear right speakers. The '04 Sport Trac Wiring Diagrams manual only displays two speakers, front right and left. It does not display a rear set.)



Any help would be appreciated.

Well i juss took mine out and got an aftermarket one and we had trouble finding some of the harnesses, the one with 8 pins, I cant rememebr is it a 4x2 row? And when i hooked up my new one, there were only left/right positive/negative front speaker wires. but it plays the back ones too. I lost my amp doin with the new one so i probably cant help u there.

Boodro - Yea yea yea! ...That's what I was talking about!



In the wiring diagrams manual by Helm, it only shows the radio outputting to a front left (pos and neg) and front right (pos and neg) - but NO rear!?! But on the radio that I have (I sent you some pictures to your email) the MENU shows BALANCE and FADE, so there has to be some way to decipher front from rear!?!???



And what do you mean "you lost your amp"?
