Once you remove the console, the black plastic piece that houses the P R N D indicator is held down by 4 snaps. Pry them out and pull the plastic unit up. Then, you'll see the bulb base and white/black wires. This is where I got the 12V for the dimmer signal. White is hot, black is ground. I just twisted the bulb out of the shifter housing, unrouted the wiring so I had better access, and spliced into the white wire. Then I twisted the bulb back into the shifter housing and replaced the black piece with the P R N D indicator on it.
