More about this from a Cleveland station. This is not new.....but I'm sure there are those out there that would hate to see energy generated by something other than petro.

There is a video in my library about this. I can't get the link to post. (WKYCCleveland)

The big question is whether or not it takes more energy to generate the radio waves than you get from the burning hydrogen. And burning hydrogen just makes more water, so we're not using it up. That's what worries me right there. We're changing water into something that will burn, but burning it turns it back into what it was to start with. That's free energy if the radio waves take less energy than the burning creates. Otherwise it's a waste of time. Interesting process, though.

Rich,

I beleive this story was posted here around July 2nd and had a video link.

I have the video but its a windows media player clip and I don't know how to attach it to this post......

plymbob, sorry, I missed it the first time arund.

dremen, even if it uses more energy to free the hydrogen from the salt water than the freed hydrogen generates, it can still be of tremendous benefit.

Right now, the biggest problem with using hydrogen for fuel is distribution: Getting hydrogen from places where it is processed to end users. If a "hydrogen generator can be plugged into a wall in your home and fed salt water, producing hydrogen that you can use in your hydrogen powered furnace or car, it solves huge instrastructure problems and paves the way to practical hydrogen power.
