Well, she did not meet all of the paremeters for getting the breathing tube out today. She is not sedated, but in being given pain medication until the tube comes out which I hope will be the 22nd.

Glad to hear about the improvement! The prayers are all continuing...
On a side note--any idea what kind of stent she received? Manufacturer, model, etc.? (I work in the medical device manufacturing industry, so I'm always curious about these type of things whenever I hear of someone getting such a procedure.)

Not out of the woods yet. I noticed that her right arm & hand were puffy. They did a ultrasound and found a clot around the area of the IV. Switching IV to left side & giving her blood thinners. Otherwise the is doing quite well everything considered. She sat up 3x today, and ate as much as she felt able to considering that all of the food was pureaed (sp) so the it goes down into her stomach, not her lungs which is what happens with having breathing & feeding tubes in.
I was called into the hospital @ 1 am this morning. My wife has got it in her head the she wants to come home, and she does not seem to be halucinating. I just talked to her nurse and she told me that she is still not cooperating, and does not want to take anything that will help her. Her heart valve is leaking more. She will have to be sedated & breathing tube put back in. THANK YOU for your Prayer support!!!

Feel your pain Roger.I really do.maybe she knows something nobody else can understand.
From our conversation,she has been thru the max of late.
I know in her condition coming home may be impossible,but one connot blame her for wanting to do so,our prayers to both of you.
