Its so hot here that I saw a dog chasing a cat, and they were both walking.

It hit 111 here last week. with the a/c on my house was still 87-91 degrees and that was running it 24-7. but as for today it was only 97

Today the thermometer in my ST hit 102. The heat index was well above 105 all day.

During the last heatwave in Philly, about three weeks ago, I was driving in Center City. At one point, it registered 106. I know they are somewhat off at times, but it was damn hot.

Well, it was 100 today in No. Va. and the "feels like" was 108 degrees. Drove through Death Valley in a rent-a-car two years ago and was reeeaaal hot. Here's a pic. It was certainly a dry heat though.

100 Monday and Tuesday with a heat index of 111 to 113. Then in winter we have -20 with wind chills of -40 and lower. Now that is quite a temp.swing.
