All - I have a 2005 Sport trac. Today my instrument cluster and radio started to intermittently go out - seems like power is cut off. It only lasts a couple of seconds and then everything is normal - happened 4-5 times over a six hour drive today. Other than the instruments and radio not working the truck continues to run fine. Any ideas...? Whether or not it is related or not - two weeks ago the truck would not start - dealer said it was fuel cutoff switch and replaced it - truck started and ran fine after they worked on it - again no idea if this related.

Check your battery connections, clean and tight. You can pull a few screws and check your connectors on the back of the instrument panel. Have your battery checked. Our tracs are known to have electrical glitches, when the battery starts to go.

Not related to fuel switch.
