well, it's getting better gas mileage right now than my '03 did. I am thinking of the Magnaflow exhaust...I've been reading about them. I'd like to be able to hear the V8 on WOT, but when I'm cruising on freeway, I like how quiet the cabin is stock, and I don't want to mess with that. If I'm reading correctly, the Throttle Body could help on gas mileage also right? as well as off the line pick up?

is anyone gonna mention the tranny issue?

No, we thought we would let him own it for a while before we burst his bubble:) I think Scott's a regular around here so I bet he is aware of the potential issues.

HA, no I've read about the tranny issue...in fact, I think mine has it...the ol' 1-2 shift stuff...it's still under warranty so I may take it to get TSB 07-10-12 done, or I may just go the old battery trick...we'll see, so far, this truck is SO much better than my '03, and it's so new to me that I haven't quite learned all it's quirks yet! And because it's CPO, I have powertrain warranty to 100K

Scott, the latest TSB is 08-4-16(it's posted in my library)....my recommendation would be to get the TSB done and if the problem persists then do the old battery trick. That way you will have the latest PCM/TCM program available. It can't hurt...
