problem with ac

hey guys i need u guys help lately my trac has been acting weird. when i turned the AC the trac hesitates and looks like if it lost power. sometimes im on a complete stop the trac does like if wants to go on and off sometimes i got to put it on neutral and it goes away. when i step on tha gas pedal the trac hesitates, losses power miises and i have a hard time getting it to run right. the weird on this situation is i turn off the ac and all goes away. if anyone has experiences something like this ur input will b apprecciated thanks in advanced. :angry::banghead:

I wonder is the ac compressor is trying to lock up and is putting alot of load on the engine.

could be a compressor going bad. I've heard of people having to cut the belt on a dodge caravan to get back home when a compressor went bad.
