I put up this weekend my xmas gift a 100lb Everlast punching bag. Man I tell you what if you get into it you can work up one hell of a cardio session. I was bounching and punching trying to feel like a pro, throwing fists of fury. It felt good to hit that thing. I just thought about all those pain in the you know what customers at work and went to town.

Was pretty easy to hang in the garage. I took a 4x4 fence post cut to size between the beams in the attic and bolted it in place. Then drilled a hold for an 8in eye bolt used a washer at the top and dropped it through the ceiling works fine plenty of support.:D

We have one too. I put it up for my middle son. He's an orange belt in Tae kwon doe. I know what you mean. You can work up a hell of a sweat beatin on the heavy bag!

I asked my wife if she wanted a punching bag one time....she said only if it had my picture on it....

I had that bag but it kept moving too much every time I hit it. I had to upgrade to the 200LB bag. It still moves a lot, but not as bad as the lighter one.
