Quaker State 4X4 10W-40 Synthetic

I was recently at a dollar store that had about 3 cases of the quaker state 4x4 full

synthetic oil for only $1.99 each. I couldn`t believe it, but then I thought, why is

it in a dollar store so cheap???. I did buy 5 qts. I used then today.

My question is; Is there something wrong with the oil? Or was it just a bad seller?

Inquisitive minds want to know!!!

If the poll comes out to be good. I am going back as soon as I can to see if there is

anymore.

We sell it at work. Stopped carrying it. Probably why it's on sale.

The reason why its so cheap is cause it was relabeled..it is now the Torque QS...I sold out quick at my store when it dropped

If it's SL-rated, that could be why it's on clearance also. New oils are SM-rated but on an '01 SL oil is fine. K-Mart near me has 4 quarts of dusty old SL-rated Pennzoil Synthetic (pre-Pennz Platinum) but they wouldn't mark it down for me.

There is nothing wrong with the oil, go back and get all that is left. You will have just saved yourself some $$!
