question about chips

i met a guy yesterday that had a 98 explorer on 33s. he sold it but kept his k&n intake, maf sensor, and his superchip. he said he would sell it all to me for $100. but me question is will the chip and sensor work with my 01 trac? he said his explorer had a 4.0 SOHC and his computer was mounted on the firewall just like ours.

Stay away from the chip.

Get an XCal2. Chances are that your engine code wouldn't be the same as his anyway. The xcal2 will improve a lot more than just performance. That's the single best mod you can do on your trac.

Crunchy Cheetos are good...really as baron said stay away from the chip...use the mass and intake...do your exhaust...then get the xcalII from wayne...you will get a better tune for your money...
