Question about interiors

What year ST came with the grab handles in the A pillar? My ST is extremely hard for my wife and anyone under 6' to get into. Even I have to use my step bars now. So I want to add the grab handles that mount to the A pillar for added help.

my 2005 has them

Ford "claims" you can not put those handles on the 2001 and 2002 Tracs. Before you buy anything, better pull the A-Pillar trim to see if there is any mounting points there.

I will weld in the mounting points. Just wanted to find out which year A pillar covers I need to get.

Got your email, I did not know your s was an 03. Disregard my question in my email then, it looks like I will be welding in mounting points.
