was wondering, is said to change Dyno ever 6 mos or 3 K miles, is my understanding that dino starts to oxidize when out of the bottle.

So they say to change it at 6 mos, even if the car is not even driven.

Question is, do's syn do the same?

i don't think you need to change syn at the same pace as conventional.

i let my vette go a year w/o syn change and only drove about 300 miles.

fiero went a lilttle over a year w/o syn change and only a tad over 100 miles of use. 96K miles.

that is why i use syn so i dont have to worry

The petro based oils absorb moisture and with the climate change are greatly affected....

Syn is not....

I sent my oil to Blackstone and the guy said in my 04 go 5-7K on the next change BUT on my 03 with the wearing chain guides they feel 3K is best till the motor blows up...

LOL

DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT !!!!!!

Agreed Gary, hell I have gone well over a yr and 8K miles with the trac.

I dont drive my stang sometimes for mos, always use syn.

Question is, do's it deteriorate like they say Dino will.

My edit: thx Todd saw your post after I posted mine.

Todd, did Blackstone diagnose your wearing chain guides, or did you happen to mention it to them?
