question about tie downs

im wondering if the gen 2 hooks will fit on the gen 1

I like the way how they are more visable but I don't know if they will fit on the gen 1 and how good they will look

I liked the tie downs when I had my 02. It's a pain trying to get basic ratchet strap hooks in/out of the Gen 2 tiedown holes.

I believe the Chevy Blazer ones fit the ones that hooks

They won't fit. I've owned both. Totally different shape and base.

If you remove one of your Gen-1 tie-downs, you will see a large, ugly oval shaped recess. The sides of the bed are fiberglass and they have to put a large metal reimforcement mounting plate behind the tie-down.
