Question about wire types

I'm in the process of replacing my factory amp with an aftermarket amp, but I', not sure what the wires are that were connected to the factory amp. I know that 4 of them are speaker wires, what are the others? I'm thinking ground and power, and which is which, providing I'm right.

The lines going to your amplifier are going to be power, remote turn on, ground and signal inputs. I can't remember if there are outputs to the other 4 speakers or not. You will have to test these. I would not use these power wires for hooking up an aftermarket amp unless the aftermarket amp you have draws less than 7.5Amps which is pretty minimal for an aftermarket amp. If you do you make cause fuses to blow all the time or even worse cause the power lines to overheat and start a fire. Run seperate power lines directly from the battery, proper guage is key here.
