question on mounting tires.

i just put my new firestone at on. how are you supposed to know which way to mount on trac.

Are the tires directional or assymetrical? If so there will be arrows on the tire for the forward direction. If not put them on the regular way.



Assymetrical will have inside outside rim markings. directional has arrows.

there are no arrows on the tires. lets what was confusing me.

No directional arrows or any writing this side in or out. Mount them anyway you want. If you get one that takes more than 2oz of weights or doesnt seem to balance. Have them to rotate the tire on the rim 180 degrees and rebalance it.

let me correct myself.the tires are on the rims. mean putting them on the trac. which way should they go on.sorry

If the tire shop put them on the rims correctly. If they are not directional. No arrows. put them on any hub you want to. If there is an arrow on thhe side wall. Point the arrow forward.

I have Firestone AT's also. They are not directional.

I don't know of any Firestone light truck tires that are directional. However, I think you should have a tire shop do the work.
