cruise control switch might be out. i believe its a 30 dollar part from ford.

the 2001-2003 had a recall on the cruise control switch that could cause a fire even when

ignition was off.

im not certain what your issue could be. maybe just a fuse

Could even be that they unplugged the cable from the CC switch at the master cylinder in lieu of taking it in for the recall.

Silverstar 9005 bulbs are not what my sport trac have ,they are considerably smaller .Any other ideas ? I replaced the tag lights without a problem.I wonder if someone added my fog lights themselves ,even though they look original .

The factory fogs should use a Sylvania 9145 bulb which is 45 watts

Some members will fit the Silverstar Ultras 9005 for better and enhanced visibility at night. This bulb is 65W.

If these two bulbs do not seem to work out for you. Then you might have some sort of after market fog light which would require a different bulb.

Have you tried checking the bulb you already have installed on your fogs. You should see the bulb size number printed on the current bulb.

I have the bulb in my pocket ,it has no numbers on it antwhere at all. The bulb is not much bigger than the tag lights but is nothing like the 9145 as I bought them too.
