I have all the equipment needed to make the install. I am having a stereo shop do the install to make things easier on me. Finally, after all the talk about getting it installed, it will be, this Thursday.

Question though... Those who have the JDBox dual 10"s, have pictures on how you have it installed? I mean down right to pictures on what back wall plastic was kept and what was trashed. I just went through and starting taking crap out, to make it easier on my friends at the stereo shop.

Also any ideas where I can mount my amps at? I see the box is fairly tall, so I can't go above it. I know theres little room beside the box, but thats where my 5 farad cap will be going. Also will be where the brain of my 2-7" monitors will be at. Under the seats would be nice, but I also have 2 sub boxes under them as well. This is a shot in the dark. Any ideas where to put them? I know they could get mounted in the back of the seats but, I don't want the amps overheating. The only other idea I can seriously think of mounting them, would be on the side the boxes that are mounted below the seats.

Like if you were sitting the back seat, your calf muscle might be laying against the amps. I need some good ideas here, please. One amp is approx 30" long by 8" wide, other amp is about 12" long by 8" wide. I don't want to go the route of mounting in the bed. Any ideas would be great to hear. I will take pictures as promised after the install.

No pictures anymore, but I cut the back plastic right below the child seat safety latches.

As far as amps and other equipment, do you have a shorty console? If so have you thought about having something built to house it all in there in place of the center console?

There is room under the front seats for small amps, or brains.

Thats all I've got for you..

I can see this is going to be a huge ordeal. Going to go to the stereo shop today and see what they say. There is little to no available spots for amps. If it breaks down to it, I might just end up putting the JD box in my ranger. And just use the two boxes I currently have for the ST and mount the amps behind the rear seat in the bin locations. It would look cleaner and the bass would prolly sound cleaner and have a better response.

I took apart the whole interior part behind the rear seat to make it easier for my friends. I got an itch and I think the best solution is just to mount the amps back there. Ditch the idea for 4-10s and just swing it with 2-10s.

I have the brain to my HU TV deck under the front passenger seat and its location sucks for any rear passenger as they have direct access to kicking it or possibly damaging it. I am going to have them move that as well.

HA! WOW. Call me dumb!! I checked my adrenalin box. Was told it was a 10... Just took one of my Alpine 10s and guess what? It don't fit. So yeah. What wonderful news. I have no freaking clue anymore. I'm about to give up with trying. lol

How far off is it? I was under the impression it was a 10 also. Different 10's have different size cut outs so if it's not that much different just trim it.

My new 10, makes my OEM adrenalin 10 look like an 8. The alpine basket is bigger than the hole made in the plastic box. The ideas of putting this in, is running trim. Its wild how this is all messed up. I think I am going to scrap the idea for right now and figure this crap out later.
