Well, I suffered a big loss in my family early this morning. My long time friend Bart, passed away at 12:30 am (eastern). He died of old age, and we will greatly miss him. He was my beagle dog. Bart lived to be 20 years old (140 dog years). We just buried him today and I'm sad to see him go. I will see you later buddy. Be well.

Wow. 20 years old is pretty old for a beagle. We lost our beagle a couple of years ago. He was only 13. Tough loosing an old friend.

It's never easy dude. Think of the good times, and know that you gave him a good life. I'm sure that his spirit is happily chasing rabbits with the speed and agility that his body hasn't been able to deliver for some time now.

My dog is 9, a mid-sized mutt, so we have no idea about life expectancy. We will be torn up when he passes. But, that's why we have pets, the bond that forms. Parting is the price you pay for having shared that bond. Take care

We feel your pain, we lost our Sammy on July 13 and it hurts as much today if not more. We'll tell Sammy to watch over Bart and keep him company. Life just isn't the same without our beloved four-legged family members (Timmy & Sammy).

We will keep you in our prayers.

You have my sympathies, BD.

We just lost our beloved girl, Amber, two weeks ago.
