Radio is acting strange

My 07 satillite radio's volume will sometimes drop a few notches on it's own then a few minutes later the volume returns back to normal. I thought it was just the feed from Sirius, but it did it with a CD also. Anyone else have this happen?

Do you have the Speed Vol setting activated on the radio? This allows the radio to get louder the faster you drive and then adjusts down as you slow down.

LOL, I had the same thing....then figured out it was the speed volume setting making it do that.

Setting it at 3 or 4 seems to work good for me.

I had the setting all the way up before I realized what it was....LOL.

Well, I had no idea that my setting was maxed on 7, so thanks for helping me solve this problem. I set it on 3.

Denise...do not feel bad, I had a bowling ball leaning on the controls in the back seat making my radio do crazy stuff as it jiggle around in the bag. It took a week to figure out. Had to go bowling to do so.
