radio lights flickering

The backlights on my stock 6disc pioneer flicker sometimes. It's not affecting anything at all it I'm just curious if anybody else has had a problem like this and fixed it.

Often, when lights flicker it is a sign of a weak battery, low idle, or an alternator problem...

Could be your dimmer switch too if your stereo was hooked to it. Does your odometer do the same?

Are you running a separate amplifier? Are you talking the backlighting on the stock deck flickers in rythm with the bass beat hits during music playback? <--- if THIS is the case you just need the power fed to the amplifier to first go into a capacitor, then from the capactiro into the amplifier.



However, I'm guessing that's not the kinda flickering you're talking about.
