Ranger axle code

Can someone tell me what the axle ratio is on a 1990 Ford Ranger long bed, regular cab, with the 4.0 l engine? The code on the door sticker is "82"; this is not listed in the manual.Thanks

TRS lists the 82 code as being an open 7.5" 3.08.

"Open" is non-limited slip", sorry.



TRS also says that ALL '90-up 4.0 Rangers have the 8.8" axle but that's not what they code translate to. Best bet is to crawl under & get the numbers/letters on the tag under one of the cover bolts.
