Really need help

Wish I never started this project.

My '01 is totally loaded minus subwoofer. I thought what the heck lets make it have every option that it could have come with. How hard could it be??

Well, get an oem sub for a good deal, then found I didnt have the radio with the sub out. Well, I got that. Then I just received the wiring harness that goes from the kick panel to the sub. All set to install it tonight, but found that I do not have the wiring harness that goes from the radio to the kick panel.

Does anyone have one or know the part number for this. Seems tough to find. But, its the last peice of this freakin puzzel.

My 01 with a build date of 2000 and it is ot a Job 1 it i s a Job 2had the harness in it allready. There is actually a dummy plug stuck into port where you plug the wire harness in. It actually looks like there is no plug there but it is there to keep the connection clean. Check that first, if no luck try calling Eric over at Wall's Ford our site sponsor and see what he can do for you. But try the plug again it may be there.

Kevin from Walls helped me with the one form kick to sub. And, beleive me, I looked all over that kick panel and at the other end by the radio, nothing.

It is behind the kick panel. There is a a block of plugs.



I am posting a project here. It is George C's project on how to replace the 4X4 module. Any way right below it you will see 2 plugs the one on the right is for the stock sub. Well on mine there was a plastic sleeve there and underneath was the plug wired into the factory harness.



I hope this helps, unless you have already found this and there is absolutely nothing there.

Thanks Paul, but its not there. I looked up into the dash and all around casue Todd had mentioned it may be "tucked up" somewhere. Its no where.

If you could get to the part number on ours............ man, that would help a ton!! Guys at Ford cant find the part number for it.

does anyone have a picture of a 03 with the wiring harness in the dash (radio out)? Because i think mine is wired for the sub already (having the harness in the dash behind the radio) because with i took the radio out i seen a harness not connected to anything?? i should have taken a picture but ill do that tonight and post it. im seriously considering still attempting to install the sub and amp in mine even though my radio doesn't have the plug on the back. One thing is though where does the sub go? i dont have speakers in my door so does it go under the seat somewhere?
