2002 Sport Track. Rear drum appears to be stuck to the brake shoes and will not come off. I can feel the springs as I pull out on the drum. It's not being held up by rust between the drum and hub. How do I get this thing off??

Soak with penetrating oil for a few hours,
lite tapping with a hammer\mallet,
clean up with brake cleaner + soft wire brush + rags. And patience.

IIRC, 2001-02 had rear drums. 2003-05 had rear disc brakes.

Are the "star adjusters" frozen?
If so, and as per @DILLARD000, soak with penetrant then retract them all the way in.
Then it's BFH time. Dead blow type preferred.

You will need 2 long skinny flat tip screw drivers. From the adjustment window you will use 1 to push the adjuster lever away from the adjust screw and the other will have to rotate the adjuster screw in. The shoes have worn into the drum and there is a small lip preventing you from pulling the drum off.
