A few weeks I was rear ended in my 07. There was not a lot of damage, just some scrapes to the rear bumper, I have an XLT so it's not color matched and impossible to remove the scuffs (There are no cracks and nothing is broken). If I was to goto an auto body place and have the bumper replaced, would that go on the record of the vehicle as being in a collision? I'm thinking for resale value, is that something I would need to report?

My 03 was hit with 100 miles on it....

It had a more damage then yours, my car fax just showed accident... I have the paperwork from the body shop just to show to the buyer if I sell it..

I think you could just get the bumper cover from our site sponsor and change it your self...

Just get cash from the person that hit you..

That sounds cool! can I order it color matched? I also need the cover for the trailer hitch wiring, that was broken as well. I guess another question, is the factory receiver powder coated or painted? There are scuffs there also.

In order: No, have to get the whole plug, powder coated.

Getting it painted is a minor thing. Any body shop should do it for you around $150 or less.
