Rear (seat) Interior Dome Light Out

My rear (seat) interior cab lights just stopped coming on. Acts like the bulb is out. Before I break the light cover, can someone tell me safely how to remove it? Thanks.

quite simple. theres a small quarter inch gap in towards the back of the clear plastic cover.

simple grab a flathead screw driver and prop it out. for some reason mine is out as well and i removed it o replace it and it appears to get so hot that it has melted the plastic chrome above

I replaced mine with led bulbs. Much nicer and no heat at all :banana: oh and they are now blue as well :supercool:

Sounds interesting, although I think I'll stick with white, I need all the light I can get. Where can I get some LED bulbs for this application?

Removed cover, bulb looks ok, other two lights to either side w/rocker switches work. Will try replacement first.

and i got my FLUX LED bulbs from ebay. they were 5.99 for two
