Rear window stopped working

So my rear window won't roll down anymore (at least its not stuck down). I tried doing the reset thing in the repair manual to no avail. Fuses seem fine so I am thinking it must be the motor. Any idea how hard it is to change out? and the cost?

The change out is a hassle but not too bad..



However,, you need to do more tests before you go that route.



Test to see if there is power at the switch and comingb thru the swithc when you attempt to activate the window.



If so, then you need to get to the module that is located near the motor and test to see if it is getting power when the switch is activated. If so, then see if the motor is getting power via the switch/module...



If the answer is then yes,,, replace the motor.

Failure of the rear window motor happens in many of the 01's and I think some 02's as well.

I ordered mine for $105 and it's fairly easy to change yourself.
