rear window

i have a 2002 sport trac when i hit my rear window button to go up it goes up then automatically goes back down i cant get it to go up all the way and stay up .any ideas how to fix

Try this. I have had to do it a few times. I really need to actually grease the window tracs to prevent the window from jamming.

I think Mark nailed it. If you didnt replace anything. It must be binding. It is a safety feature so humans dont get caught in it. Try lubeing the tracks with a heavy duty silicone spray...

If the felt is worn down to the rubber. You might need a spray grease in the track. Try a white lithium grease.
