Rebuild it or Bulldoze it?

Total it and rebuild farther north above sea level on solid ground. It will just happen again no matter what.

Most of the Sunbelt had its explosive growth during a 20-year lull in big hurricanes from 1980 to 2000. I keep hearing they go in 20-year cycles and we're in the beginning of a high one now.

I hate winter but maybe western PA isn't so bad after all.

Those cycles are usually not this long or have this many big ones. It's getting worse.

No matter how bad it is or how bad it can get. It will be re-built. The city/state will not give up the property that is worth MILLIONS and MILLIONS of dollars not to mention the income from the businesses that will be built on the property.



This will more than likely will happen again in the future. And they will re-build it again...
