Here is a couple pics of some recent additions to my ST.

the first is My amp panel. I am totaly averse to drilling into my truck so this took a bit of thinking. it is held in place by nyloc ties around the child seat anchors until I can figure out something better. Ultimatly, I would like to have a handle and some plug together connectors for the wireing so that I can just remove the entire panel in one piece. I had room left over so I mounted my mag light and above that is where I plan to mount my ham radio.

Last weekend I had the front side windows tinted 35% here is what it looks like. some people like to have it match the rear, but for me, that would have been too dark at night. Maybe I just have bad vision. this is the first time I have ever had windows tinted, (I have lived in northern climates most of my life) but I must say I am now hooked. an added benefit is that at night, it cuts the glare from the outside rear view mirrors.

This one, added on the 4th of july, I cannot take credit for. When I ordered my trac, I forgot to check off the leather steering wheel option, and have been regretting it ever since. Dingo told me about the wheelskins, I went to their website and ordered samples. The tan matched my camel interior perfectly. Dingo argued I should just get all black. I ended up getting both, it matches the Wet Okole seat covers perfectly. Credit dingo for sewing it in on the 4th of July, just like Betsy Ross. It was a little loose around the fat spokes but after just 10 days it seems to be shrinking a little, I am totally happy with it. By the way Dingo, I came up with a name for my ST.

I think the black and tan steering wheel cover looks good.

thanks Olaf,

the steering wheel cover was 35 bucks, that plus Dingo's seamstress skill's made it turn out great. I just added the seatcover photo for comparison.

now wave bye bye to that alpine cdplayer, the double din Alpine arrives monday.

Dingo, yes it did take 45 minutes, but you had a beer in your hand the entire time so you technicly were celebrating the 4th of july.

Cd player and bluetooth removed. new one arrives tommorrow. Ordered the Pac tr7 module to free up the dvd player. Hopefully everything will go together well.

I am not sure about the ivp-205, if I need to add the newer bluetooth or if it will use the bluetooth from the portable module when docked.

Except for me. I will be saying hello and goodbye to my 5 year old Alpine.

Trac looks great Axxman.

probably going to be a few days before I get this thing installed. there are tons of wires and I want to make sure I dont have to take it out again for a long time once I get it in there.

I had to order the module to disable the video lockout, and some connectors and an adaptor plate from crutchfield. Everything should be here by wedsday, in the mean time I am getting wires together and measureing.

The good news is that I think I will not have to buy a bluetooth adaptor, as far as I can tell, it will use the bluetooth that is in the portable gps unit. I will need to add an external gps antenna and microphone, but I think they will be included with the gps unit.
