It’s been a while since I’ve posted some pictures of my Trac. I had my Adrenalin rims powder-coated gloss black. I also installed a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust that I picked up from another owner. Prior to installing it, I had the tailpipe section powder-coated gloss black also.

Then (newly purchased almost three years ago) & now:

Nice! dig the spinners on the rims. I also like the color keyed mirrors. I wonder if those second generation mirrors will fit on my first gen?

Looks amazing! I'm a huge fan of blackout and I think your Trac looks so much better. Black and white is a great combination. How do you like the new magnaflow exhaust? They sound mean on the V8s!

Amazing wheels. Questions...1.where did the spinners come from 2. what was cost for powder-coating wheels black.

Thanks for the compliments, Phil. My previous 2004 Adrenalin had the chrome side steps and chrome rims. I decided to do something different with this one by going "blackout". I really like how the black/white combo turned out.

And I like the Magnaflow exhaust. Before I installed that, I'd removed the OEM resonator and muffler and had a Flowmaster Delta-Flow 50 muffler installed. The MF is a bit more quiet at idle, but still sounds good at wide open throttle.

Thanks.
  1. The spinner caps are Ford OEM. They were optional on the 2005-2009 Mustang.
  2. It cost me $350 to have the rims powder-coated. That was dropping the truck off at the shop, removing the tires from the truck, removing the tires from the rims, blasting/stripping the rims, coating them, re-mounting/balancing the tires, and re-installing them on the truck. I thought that was a really good deal.

Ok, i found the spinners on Ebay approx $40 each. ( i have the same Adren. rims, assume they will fit perfectly) The powder-coated rims at less than $100/ea is a steal ( were yours chipped-up badly?) Also i want the back-window visor...i have found for a Gen 1...where did you get for Gen 2?

The spinner caps fit perfectly on the Adrenalin rims. But they can be found for much cheaper than $40 each. I've seen good used sets for as low as $64 on eBay. My wheels were pitted and corroded from years of exposure to Midwestern winters and road salt.

As for the rear window visor, this is the one that I bought:

GT Styling 57315 Shadeblade Rear Window Deflector

It's made for the Gen 1 Trac, but it also fits Gen 2 Tracs.

The $40 each ones were the EBay used ones...will have to keep an eye out for these.
My wheels are the same..marked and pitted. Will have to investigate repair options on powder-coating.
Its strange...that exact Shadeblade was one i was considering buying for my 2004 ST, but when i go to the Amazon link it states that it does NOT fit a 2010 model....did you have to do any altering in any way ?

I know that that Shadeblade says it's only made for Gen 1 STs, but trust me it fits perfectly, with no modifications.

Thats great to know..i had already crossed it off my list BUT now will put it back. I think it adds a lot to the look and its the only visor not on the truck now

I personally think it’s one of the best bang-for-the-buck mods for the Sport Trac. I had one on my 2004 Adrenalin, and it was the first mod I purchased for my 2010. I love being able to “vent” the rear window without having to worry about water getting inside.
