Recommendation for an amplifier?

My 09 ST did not come with the Audiophile. Any suggestions as to what I could do to increase quality and sound in my truck. Something that I can have installed in the same area (behind the rear seat) where the audiophile would have been had it come stock with the truck.

Hello Bob, Any reputable audio shop can put in any of the amps that are available out there. It would be wired into your stock system and you would have the option of putting in a sub. Though not highly recommend, but would work fine is a 5-channel amp(4doors and sub). Kicker, Kenwood, Alpine, they all make this stuff. Just do some looking on the internet for what you want. Then its up to your wallet as you could be starting a "domino" effect, ie: better speakers for the doors, maybe change the head unit to something with navigation and bluetooth. Then a second amp and another sub. The list goes on and on.....Bob

Upgrading most stock car audio systems usually begins with speakers.

From there you can determine how much amplifier power is needed.
