Reggie Busch fined for Taunting.

MIAMI (AP) - Reggie Bush was fined $5,000 by the NFL for taunting during his 88-yard touchdown reception in New Orleans' NFC championship game loss at Chicago last week.



Although the rookie running was not penalized for pointing back at Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher or for somersaulting into the end zone, he subsequently received the league's standard punishment for taunting.



NFL spokesman Greg Aiello confirmed the fine Sunday.



Bush, the 2005 Heisman Trophy winner and second pick in last year's draft, caught a short pass from Drew Brees on the left sideline. He sped downfield, cut back near midfield and was several steps ahead of Urlacher when Bush turned and pointed at the Bears star. He then did his front flip into the end zone, making the score 16-14.



The Bears won 39-14 to reach the Super Bowl.

im actually glad they didnt penalize him as the Bears defense played

a whole different game after he pulled that stunt.

I am a huge football fan--- I even have a Redskins Logo on my tailgate (not removable). I can't stand these don't taunt/no celebrations in the end zone fines/penaltys. Football is football. It is giant and competitive guys fighting it out on the field and get their fans rowdy and loud. Just seems like they always want to neuter the sport to me. And what does a 5,000 dollar fine accomplish anyways? GO SKINS... haha next season!

I say let them dance, and taunt all they want. Trust me, if you taunt too much on the football field you will be dealt with n the football field. as for the celebrations, let them do it, as long as it doesnt delay the game.
