There's a project on how to do it. I was one of the first things I did, but then I got an aftermarket intake. Basically, take the box apart, and pull out that little tube that's in the front of the air box. I think I took my head light out (passenger side that is) and it was somewhat easier. Cheapest performance mod out there. You should notice a little exhaust change, not much, and you may notice a sucking sound too, but it won't be too loud or noticable.

I just did the same mod this Saturday. I found it much faster and easier to remove the headlight.(don't forget to plug it back in when your done, unlike me) I have noticed a little bit of noise but not much, but i like the sound that it does make. You can't screw this up its very simple. Good luck and have fun!

Dont bother removing box just use a hole saw & carefully cut 3 2in holes in sides, that will give you all the air the filter can handle,it works well & apears standard, gives slight roar on hard acceleration
