I was wondering what all is involved in removing the rear passenger bed side? I need to remove mine to be repaired and was wondering if i could do it myself. Are their any special tools or anything I would need? thanks in advance.

Lb, the bed comes apart, the side panels are like the front fenders and do unbolt off...

The skin of the box does come off, doesnt it...

I beleive you have to remove the tie downs, remove the screws at the wheel well, unbolt the box from the frame, slide it back to get the screws off against the cab part, and I think that should be it? Or am I just making this up? hahaha..

I have to take mine off too, im going to repair it myself.

It can remove, When mine had to be repaired I dropped by the shop to check up on my baby and they had the piece removed.

Todd Z,

Yes... I am aware that the "Bed" is not one entire piece... I was just unsure as to what "bed side" meant --- "side panel" is a little more specific. ;)
