Hi I'm a newb, so I'm sorry if this is a repeat question but I did a little searching and didnt quite find what I was looking for.

I've got an `05 Adrenaline and the sound system is nice but I'm not really satisfied with the headunit. I was wondering if Ford dicked up the wiring for the adrenalines "special" sound system like they did for Ranger Tremors?

I'd like to not have to redo all wiring to all speakers and the sub, but if it comes down to I will. so is this feasable?

I think a member here got a radio with sub out puts and a special adapter and it worked fine....

Hopefully some one can chime in...

The only prob my wife has with her 05 Adrenalin sound system is a rattle in the sub enclosure when you turn up the bass.

What symptoms are you having?

it's not so much a problem as just lack of function. I'm actually looking to upgrade to a Pioneer navigation system H/U . Either the AVIC - N2 or the AVIC- D1. I was just wondering what complications I'd run into with trying to change out the HU, cuz I come from Rangers and the EDGE TREMOR was a wiring nightmare if you wanted to change something

Just use the 70-5521 harness from Metra. The kit comes with two plugs one for the main connector (which has the power wires, ground and door speaker wires) and one for the connector that runs to the factory amp and sub. The second harness converts the factory sub line to an RCA style connector that can be connected to the new radios sub level RCA outs.
