I struck a curb and broke off a bit of my wheel. About 2 inches. I have some questions about replacement. Mine is aluminum with plastic chrome hubcap.

Can just the chrome plated plastic "hubcap" be replaced?

Has anyone purchased wheels from an OEM dealer online?

Any suggestions on a source cheaper than dealer?

TRR ... My cheapest suggestion would be to have whomever you deal w/on rotataing & balancing your tires add a flat weight [not the noticable knock on lead weight, but one that bends & blends in w/the wheel lip] over the 2 inch damaged are if it's only on the lip of the wheel. And the tire shop can counter balance your tire [ if necessary] for the weight covering the damaged area to your wheel. Just one idea perhaps. Don't ask me why I even thought of or suggest the idea. HAHA!
