Rough Idle Issue...it's a bronco!!!

Hey gang!



Problem #2 I need a bit of guidance/help with. The past few weeks, without fail on a cold start, here is what is happening:



-start the XLT ST '03, no problems

-put the truck in R or D ... the ST starts to gently "buck" back and forth as I'm getting out of the driveway!?!?

-once I've driven 20+ft, the problem disappears and off I go :driving:

....until my next cold start.



Any ideas on what to start cleaning/checking first??

IAC and check the good old elbow. do a search you will find plenty. when its cold out i have to let my '01 warm up before i go unless she "bucks" as you call it. if i didnt clean my IAC and dont warm her up, she will actually stall after "bucking"

+1 on the IAC cleaning.

Does the engine do the "bucking" or is it maybe the tranny? Maybe its the cold trans fluid and the tranny is slipping slightly.
