safety recall

I had the recall performed...they put in the jury-rigged harness. Cruise worked for about 3 months and then died. I haven't had the desire to spend time dealing with it.



Anyone else experience any issues AFTER the recall was performed?

Shawn, The new harness has a fuse in it. I would start there to see if it is blown. If so, look to see if the switch on the master cylinder is leaking. If so, it needs to be replaced.

Actually, if you look at the blue tag that Ford put on the jumper harness, it says if the fuse is blown, or the switch is leaking, the switch must be replaced with the new style switch. I REALLY wish Ford would have just changed the switch and been done with it. The harness costs about as much to put on as the switch! :smile0003:
