Anyone here downsized to 18" wheels, and/or gone to a 9" wide rim? I have a dented Factory 20" on my STA and I really don't care for all the chrome. I really like the Saleen Black Chrome (or silver) wheels like these:

I also do a lot of towing and some off road driving (camping) and the 20's with the Uber low profiles just are not what I need. Probably why I have a dented rim. I was thinking of going to an 18" and up a wee bit in side wall height. The factory rims are only 8" wide with a 35mm offset. Perhaps with another 10mm of offset the 9 inchers would pose no problem, but look nice too.

I have 20 x 9 wheels with a 25mm offset. A 10mm increase in offset will most likely give you a rubbing problem on the inside with an 18" wheel. I believe the wheels designed for an SN95 Mustang like in the picture will fit best. They are usually 18 x 9 with a 24 or 25mm offset.

Thanks, That's what I wanted to hear. I meant 10mm less... oops. What tire are you running?

I'm sorta stuck getting 18's or 19's as the style does not come in 20's and I want a little more sidewall anyway.
