I just installed sirius radio in a 2003 explorer. It took me less then 30 minutes, lol

Spliced in the power and ground.....ran the antenna which took longer then wiring it up. I also wired an inline fuse just in case. I had to buy a bracket specifically for the explorer to mount the radio. All in all about 30 minutes.....easier then I thought.

This is the third one ive done. I did my truck with my S50 (pic below) I also did a new dodge ram. Saving money is fun, lol[Broken External Image]:

Now tell us about the service. I have a Pioneer AVIC N2 that is preprogrammed for XM Radio, but is it really worth the service me. TELL US!

Well I had xm but switched to Sirius for Stern. (please save me the lecture if u dont care for Stern)

Overall the music is great on sirius. You can try out some of their music channels for free on their website.

As for the S50....the unit in the pic.. I love it! You can record anything you want off of Sirius. I record Stern every morning then listen to it later. There is a "love" button on the unit for saving stuff as you listen which is for music, so if you hear a song you like, press the button and it will start and then stop after that song is over. Any talk show must be set up through the scheduled recording feature in the unit. I have read a ton of problems about the unit, lock ups, black outs, crap outs, just plain not working.....but mine has been 110% so far. Just like any new product they are working out bugs. They have updated the firmware once already. It has a 1 gig memory, which is about 50 hours of stuff. I dont have a home dock yet because stores only started to get them in this week and online they were all pre-ordered. I will be looking for one this weekend.

It comes with a my sirius studio which helps you drag and drop mp3's onto the unit. The mss software also lets subscribers listen to Sirius over the net. Stern will be streaming soon, they are trying to upgrade the system to be able to handle so many folks at once.

Hope this helps:)
