Scanner/CB mounting

Being a volunteer EMT/FF, I was thinking of buying a Bearcat BCD996T Scanner for my '07 Trac. Where do you have your CB's or scanners mounted in a Gen 2 that's not obtrusive?

My CB is mounted under the console, but it's a 75 WX ST, so it's a little different than tradional. If you don't have the nav, buy a cheap head unit and a double din mounting kit and it can go under the head unit.
