I did a search and didn't find the answer I was looking for so here goes: I'm gonna try some sea foam in my daughters '97 Escort 2.0 SPI. I'm getting a #4 misfire even after changing plugs, wires and a ignitoin coil. Compression is good, fuel pressure good and no appearance of coolant anywhere so I doubt it's a head gasket. I'm leaning towards a sticking valve. Does the sea foam work good at cleaning valves? Also, what is the best way to use it, thru a vacuum line or thru the throttle body? I'm stumped on this one and don't want to sink a lot of money in this car so I'm trying the cleaning first. I hope it's not some more internal, the cars not worth the money to do anything like that. Thanks in advance for all the help and input.
