I am planning on doing the Seafoam Intake Cleaning today, and I have 3 questions:

1. Does it matter how much gas is in your tank? Should it be full?

2. When do you put the vacume line back in the Brake Booster?

Thanks for your help...I love this Website!!!

If your not treating the gas, makes no diff how much is in the tank.

If your using the booster hose (not the best place) put it back after the treatment, shut the engine down, let it set awhile, than fire it back up.

Welcome to the site......

As far as using Seafoam, I used a bottle of that once on a 97 Escort that sat for three years that was never started. I filled up the tank before pouring it in.....go by what is stated on the bottle.

Don't know about the Brake Booster thing...

What was the third question??

Which is the best place?

Gas has nothing to do with it. Have enouf for the truck to run. Full tank, half tank, no matter.

Put the break line back on when the half cup of seafoam is sucked out.

There is a project on it.

It will smoke for a while.

Good luck.

The airflow thru the plenum is front to back,I feel if you use the booster hose you may only be treating the back cyls.

I have a capped off T in my PCV hose, go's into the front of the plenum, works for me.

I use seafoam in my tank mostly, however seafoam makes "deep creep" which is seafoam in an aerisol can. I take out the spark plugs and spray this directly into the cyls. you dont need alot and obviously you do this with the car off. I also add seafoam to the brake booster line using a plastic old school resturant ketchup bottle (solid red soft plastic with cone top). Also i dump a little Marvel Mystery Oil in the crank case. All this is done before I change my Amsoil oil at 10k miles. hows the seafoam transtune? im kinda scared of putting aftermarket solvents into my tranny.. long story about my old cherokee.
