I stopped at my local sears and the twit workign there told me they wanted $260 for four Monroe Sensatracs. I laughed at him and left.

This is a first. The last THREE Sears 50% Off Monroe Sales were national advertisements.

Funny thing, Jason (jayrat86) in Wisconsin, mentioned that his local Sears is running the ad.

It does not appear on the Sears web site, only newspaper, and in store.

Sears is not winning over any customers from this, I'm sure.



P.S.- This has occured before. A customer walked into their local Sears Auto Center.

The salesperson had no knowledge of the 50% Off Monroe Sale. (No surprise)

I went to Sears today in Milford,Ct. They are 50 % off just like Swshawii stated. I also got the same Sears ad in the mail Thursday. Thank you Swshawii!

not a bad deal i think, he didnt even know it was still going on. he had to go online and read allllll the fine print.

Im so glad i saw this post last night. I called a near by sears here in johns creek (Ga) and they do have this add. so i went this morning and order mine. :banana:

I got my 4 shocks installed today. Sears salesman tried to say the other salesman error yesterday when he also included free installation promotion. I politely disagreed and they backed down. Basically they don't apparently know what's on sale and when without you bringing it to their attention. Four shocks installed and out the door for $110.00. Swshawii you're the man!

Must say the real beauty of this MySt site are it's people, not the ST, itself.

I joined 2/09 being completely "green" regarding my Trac.

The advice and knowledge never ceases to amaze, and it goes well beyond our trucks.

I have saved hundreds of dollars, and countless hours of time, thanks to you guys.

Im so disapointed in sears in gweneth place (duluth).:angry:

they promise my shock will be available wenesday, guess what?! it didn't come.

then folowing day the guy called me said the box came and ready for pick up.

5 min later same guy called said the other box didn't came.:angry:

then friday. another guy called said my order was ready for pick up. I asked if both of them are there front and rear,and he confirm. So i went this morning and found out that the other set is not there!:btddhorse::angry:.

I end up picking up the set for the rear. i notice the difference from old to new shock, its way better. the after shake is gone in the rear side of the trac. lovin it!:banana:
