Ok. Yesterday I changed the Serpentine Belt on the ST and let me say to anyone that is going to do this. GET THE TENSIONER TOOL!!! I did mine without it and I wish I'd rented one. Holy s**t. I was able to get the new one on but not without killing my arms and saying a few choice words. I'm posting this for future reference, so take my advise. I'll be taking it the next time I have to do something like that again.;)

I just replaced mine Thursday with the tensioner tool... and it was pretty easy - had to take the K&N intake out to get a better angel - but it worked fine...

Just changed my belt. Took about 12 mins with a standard 3/8in ratchet. Used the ratchet to release tension for the old to come off. Routed the new belt everywhere and had it ready to pop over the tension pulley. A lot of force on the pulley with the ratchet and the belt popped on with the other hand.

I really suprised myself on this one. Needless to say, no more squeaks!:D

Stone,

If you take the ratchet and place a socket over the back of the Handel and put an extension in that socket, you just made a serp belt tool....
