I traded my trac in after 10 good years, and still have the bed extender. I was wondering if anyone has sold one of these and shipped it to someone? If so, about how much was the shipping?

If anyone is interested in a bed extender from an 2001 trac in the Raleigh NC area, then maybe I wouldn't need to ship it :)

Mickey,

Use my extender all the time!

Did you trade it in on a new one?

Even if you didnt, stick around the site, ok? (We need long standing members such as yourself!)

You shouldnt have any trouble selling it, try posting it on Craigs List if there are no takers here. Also, if need be, it can be dissassembled for easier shipment.

I traded it in on a new one, but its a F150 supercrew. I went back and forth between a F150 or a V8 trac, but ended up with the f150. It was mainly because the price was so close, and I tow a boat a lot, so the extra towing ability will come in handy.

This site has been a great help over the years, and I'm sure I'll check in from time to time.

I'll probably list the bed extender for sale on here, and the cross bars too when I get back from Thanksgiving break. The cross bars shouldn't be too bad to ship

I recently bought a used extender from an eBay seller - paid $36 for the extender (no pivot bolts), seller charged me $39 shipping and handling via UPS. Not sure of the actual shipping cost. Some have said it is a better rate to ship via bus line if you have a terminal nearby.

Mickey, If you get a buyer anywhere around Charlotte I'll be glad to transport it for you/them. I come to Raleigh every Tuesday.:supercool:

Take the Extender apart and ship it..

it is not hard to take apart or put together.. jsut take a few pictures and send them with it..

the big cost for shipping this is size. not weight.
